Research has shown that ‘Laughter sessions in the workplace show significant stress reductions and a sharp increase in work effectiveness’ and ‘Laughter sessions are an effective tool to improve workplace performance’.

Natural laughter usually lasts 3-5 seconds. 50 years of medical and scientific research shows that people get proven health benefits when laughter occurs continuously for 15 minutes. Laughter well-being at the workplace aids stress management, provides uplifting playfulness and assists with creating a positive mental attitude. Laughter sessions are health-boosting as they provide a natural form of exercise and release feel-good hormones to aid mental and physical health.


  • Effective Sustained Team-building: Laughter connects people, as it is a language that we all speak. Laughing together deepens emotional connections between team members regardless of ability, language, background or history. There is no hierarchy when we laugh together.   • Suitable for ALL, including those who need to remain seated—each session is tailored to the group, with or without movement and for all abilities and ages.
  • Clear, easy steps demonstrated so the techniques that can be understood by non-native speakers.
  • Easy for ALL to laugh—session is tailored to the group, to work with current energy and participation levels shown.
  • Relaxation techniques in between the laughter for stress management and increased mental health. These well-being techniques can also be used post-session, at the desk or at home. The strategies are fast, short, practical, and backed by science.
  • The session is led to generate happy, healthy, motivated teams in a way that can be SEEN AND FELT by ALL.
  • Group exercises bring a playful element to the session, which helps team members to gain a respite from the thinking brain and move more to the creative brain, allowing relaxation and greater calm.
  • The session is highly facilitated to ensure that laughter is invited. This supports team members who may want to be involved with less interaction and without pressure. Those who cannot laugh as much as others do report that they can smile, soften, and access laughter later. Most people report feeling energised, more relaxed and surprised how good they feel from belly laughter. Natural laughter is invited and lengthened for team cohesion.

Sam is a professional Laughter Facilitator and has delivered laughter workshops for workplaces and coaching for individuals for over five years. She has worked with people from diverse backgrounds to draw out their innate strengths and increase their self-confidence. About Sam Rehan

Sam is a high-impact Well-being Professional and Stress Management expert, who works with teams and individuals in high-pressure environments to maximise and accelerate their thinking brain and calm and soothe their emotional brain. She offers interactive, fun sessions with valuable tools to enhance workplace performance via a strong mind and strong body. Simple changes lower health risks, which in turn lowers the chance of chronic disease and prolonged absence from work.

Sam’s significant experience includes over 3 decades of expertise from corporate management and training and a background in health, science and scientific research. She has a global outlook: she has been a corporate trainer for 21 years and previously taught medical software to medics and professionals in over 44 locations worldwide. Sam is a Professional Member of the International Stress Management Association and has a BSc. in Biological Sciences, as well as qualifications in anatomy and physiology, holistic therapies (Craniosacral Therapy and EFT) and cognitive coaching. She is a facilitator for ‘The Way of Council’ group process, which offers a way of communicating that encourages attentive listening and honest, compassionate expression and makes room for new insights and understandings in decision-making. Sam is a Mind Instructor for the workplace wellbeing app Revoola, which features over a dozen of her classes. She facilitates with high energy, enthusiasm and expertise. She is also a published author: her health and self-development book Laugh More is available on Audible, Kindle and in print.
